Get Involved

Serve those in need each week as we give to the homeless at the Star Of Hope by feeding them and giving them gift certificates to Subway, Panera Bread, Walmart & Star Bucks.

On Saturday evenings we go to where they are and invite the homeless of downtown Houston to church on Sunday and feed them and give them gift certificates.

Contact us to be a servant of Christ and His mission to help those less fortunate in our community.

Matthew 25:35-40 (KJV) 35 For I was an hungred, and ye gave me meat: I was thirsty, and ye gave me drink: I was a stranger, and ye took me in: 36 Naked, and ye clothed me: I was sick, and ye visited me: I was in prison, and ye came unto me. 37 Then shall the righteous answer him, saying, Lord, when saw we thee an hungred, and fed thee? or thirsty, and gave thee drink? 38 When saw we thee a stranger, and took thee in? or naked, and clothed thee? 39 Or when saw we thee sick, or in prison, and came unto thee? 40 And the King shall answer and say unto them, Verily I say unto you, Inasmuch as ye have done it unto one of the least of these my brethren, ye have done it unto me.

Welcome to Hope Center Houston! We are here to serve you

We are a Bible believing, Bible-teaching church. We are an authentic, biblical community of people from diverse ethnic, cultural, and social backgrounds who are celebrating this new life together by serving others. We are committed to growing in full devotion to Christ as we pray for each other, worship God together, study the Bible, encourage one another, share our faith, and serve our community.

At our church, it's not about the clothes you wear, the music you listen to, your political affiliation, or your income bracket—it's all about Jesus! We believe that the purpose of life is to discover and develop a personal relationship with Jesus Christ.

We believe that all of the gifts of the Holy Spirit, including healing and prophecy, are available today for the edification of God's people. Where the Spirit of the Lord, there is freedom. The Bible teaches us not to quench the Holy Spirit, but at the same time, to use the gifts in order and in love. We crave the genuine move of the Holy Spirit without the hype and show and we believe we are in true service when we allow Him to take controll.

Our goal is not only to help you and your family become fully devoted disciples of Christ, but to help you become disciple-makers who win people to Christ and, in turn, help them become disciple-makers. We don't want you to come to our church to watch a show; we want to serve this incredible truth to you so then you can get into the game and make a difference for eternity.

Hope Center revolves around Jesus' two greatest commands: love God and love people (Matthew 22:37-39). We are learning how to live and love like Jesus one day at a time. One of our core values is that relationships are the essence of life. We are a non-judgmental church where you can take your masks off, get real with people, and develop meaningful relationships. We try to treat each other like family.

Our services typically last about an hour and a half. We start out with high-energy praise and then we move into intimate worship. We invite people who need prayer to come forward so our leaders can pray for them. After the worship time, we allow room for prophecies or words of encouragement while the children are in their Sunday School classes. Then we spend a few minutes greeting each other.

We then take some time to honor God with our tithes and offerings before we get into the teaching of God's Word, with the main emphasis being on practical life application. We finish every service with an altar call to give people an opportunity to get right with God. Afterwards, we encourage people to hang out and connect with each other.

Whether you are a mature Christ-follower, a new believer, or just investigating Christianity, you will feel right at home at Hope Center. Come just as you are. Dress is casual and the music is contemporary. Coffee and refreshments are available before and after service at Guest Central. We would like to meet you personally after service and welcome you to our family.

Come celebrate life with us this Sunday. You will experience God's tangible presence, learn how to apply the Bible to your daily life, and leave feeling loved, valued, and inspired.
